Voices from past editions
Toruń is a city that combines tradition with modernity. We believe that new technologies — including unmanned systems solutions — are not only the future but also a real support in the everyday functioning of the city. The DroneTech event is a source of inspiration and partners for us in building an intelligent, safe, and resident-friendly Toruń.
We have always believed that this is one of the biggest and most important economic events in the region, and today we see confirmation of that — with more and more exhibitors and increasingly interesting presentations (…).
We have been involved in DroneTech since 2022, because together we can test new technologies for public safety in real crisis scenarios, particularly counter-terrorism operations. Verifying the usefulness of market-available solutions is an important step in optimizing public safety processes — providing an opportunity to increase efficiency and readiness in responding to new challenges.
DroneTech World Meetings is an interesting, recurring conference with a hybrid, scientific-business character. For this reason, it serves as a natural meeting place for academics and entrepreneurs. The conference organizers consistently encourage participants to focus their attention on drones — though not only in the context of airspace. During DroneTech World Meetings, drones act as a bridge between land, sea, air, and space, which is an undeniable value of this event.
Since 2016, DRONETECH has been an international initiative bringing together enthusiasts and professionals interested in the application of unmanned systems within the Earth’s ecosphere. DRONETECH has been held annually, and not even COVID could stop it, which proves that it is a stable platform enabling the exploration, development, and implementation of new solutions through open discussion and practical testing.
